Anyone who has taken the appropriate safety classes can use Makerspace machines without appointment. Machines are first-come, first-served. 

Baby & Me is perfect for our littlest library patrons and their caregivers! This story time features short songs and a story, followed by unstructured play and discovery time!

Celebrate National Teddy Bear Day by making sure your favorite stuffy is in tip-top shape! There will be stations to weigh, x-ray, bandage your stuffy, and more! 

Learn how to use our 3D Printer and become safety certified to use the machine on your own. This class is required before you are able to make 3D Printer appointments or attend Open Make. 

The Opelika Public Library has a variety of Cricut machines avaialable for use in our makerspace. In class you will learn about the types of machines we offer and how to get started with Cricut's Design Space. 

Come sample new genres, titles, stories, and more at our Book Bistro! While enjoying delectable treats, we will "taste-test" books based on that month's theme. You then can check-out and take home your menu selection! 

Learn how to use our Glowforge machine and become safety certified to use the machine on your own. This class is required before you are able to make Glowforge appointments or attend Open Make. 

Join us to learn the how to control Dot and Dash through code! This is an introductory program, no prior coding experience necessary!

Do you enjoy reading the daily paper but are frustrated that everything is going to a digital only version? This presentation will show you how Newsbank can bring the daily paper directly to your device and the benefits of electronic access!

This support group provides emotional support, validation, education, and time with people also experiencing grief and loss.
