People We Don’t Want to Forget: Who do you want to carry into the future? Who do you want people to know about? Join authors Tina Mozelle Braziel and James Braziel for a discussion and guided writing exercise about the people you don’t want forgotten.

Beginning and experienced writers will enjoy prompts for coming up with ideas and developing them. Participants will be invited but not required to share their work.

Tina Mozelle Braziel and James Braziel are both leading literary figures in Alabama. Jim teaches at UAB and is a novelist and poet. Tina directs the Ada Long Creative Writing Workshop at UAB, is a poet, and is on the board of directors of Alabama Writers Forum.  They recently collaborated on a book project titled Glass Cabin, a collection of poems and verse written in dialogue between Jim and Tina, about their thirteen-year-long journey of building their house in rural Alabama out of repurposed materials.
