Come relax as you make art! We'll be drawing freeform lines and simple shapes, and using watercolor to create abstract art. All supplies will be provided. 

Anyone who has taken the appropriate safety classes can use Makerspace machines without appointment. Machines are first-come, first-served. 

Celebrate National Hot Cocoa Day with OPL! Create your perfect cup of cocoa with toppings from our Hot Cocoa bar and then relax while creating a fun craft. 

Want to try out the Makerspace but don’t know where to start? Drop in on Thursdays to create a mini creation. Each month will feature a different small project that should 10 – 15 minutes to complete and are limited to one per patron.

The Opelika Public Library has a variety of Cricut machines avaialable for use in our makerspace. In class you will learn about the types of machines we offer and how to get started with Cricut's Design Space. 

Anyone who has taken the appropriate safety classes can use Makerspace machines without appointment. Machines are first-come, first-served. 

Roses are red, violets are blue, we will be making crafts, and you should, too! Drop-in anytime between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. to create some fun Valentine-themed crafts for you or your special someone.
