Reserve a Room (by room)

The Cooper Room will hold up to 250 when seated classroom style or up to 150 at round event tables. 

Meeting Room A is a multi-functional room that can be set up in several layouts. Please note that the layout of the room will affect the room's capacity. 

Meeting Room B includes classroom-style tables and chairs and is best used for meetings or small gatherings. 

Opelika Library has an outdoor pavilion available for reservation. Whole pavilion features power outlets and 8 picnic tables that may be rearranged to suit your needs.

The 3D printer can create a variety of objects including tools, toys, statues, and game pieces. This machine builds them out of plastic filament, which OPL has available for patron purchase.

The Glowforge is a laser cutter and engraver that can cut and engrave a variety of materials such as wood, acrylic, leather, and more. It can create intricate designs as well as cutting shapes and stencils out of material. 

The button maker allows patrons to create custom buttons as well as keychains and bottle openers. OPL has these available for purchase.

The Cricut Maker is a cutting tool that can cut a wide range of materials such as paper, vinyl, and fabric. We also have a 9x9 Cricut Heat Press and a Cricut Mug press. These tools allow users to make projects for crafting, home decor, and apparel.

A pouch laminator is a machine that seals your documents between two layers of plastic using heat, making them more durable and water-resistant. It’s great for preserving signs, bookmarks, recipe cards, and more—perfect for long-lasting use and protection!

A spiral binder machine helps you create professional-looking booklets by punching holes in paper and inserting a plastic coil or spiral to hold the pages together. It's perfect for making notebooks, reports, or custom planners. Easy to use and great for organizing your projects at the library!

A sublimation printer is a special printer that uses dye rather than ink. This machine lets you print full-color designs to be used on white or light colored backgrounds. Once printed, patrons can reserve our Cricut heat press to transfer the image into sublimation ready blanks like mugs, t-shirts, and bookmarks. It’s great for making personalized gifts or creative projects here at the library’s makerspace!

We have two group study rooms that will hold up to 10. These rooms may be reserved and are also available on a first come, first served basis.
