Anyone who has taken the appropriate safety classes can use Makerspace machines without appointment. Machines are first-come, first-served. 

Baby & Me is perfect for our littlest library patrons and their caregivers! This story time features short songs and a story, followed by unstructured play and discovery time!

Join Ms. Addy for this physical program that combines stories and yoga poses to help children learn about their bodies, develop movement skills, and improve their balance and coordination.

Want to try out the Makerspace but don’t know where to start? Drop in on Thursdays to create a mini creation. Each month will feature a different small project that should 10 – 15 minutes to complete and are limited to one per patron. 

The Opelika Public Library has a variety of Cricut machines avaialable for use in our makerspace. In class you will learn about the types of machines we offer and how to get started with Cricut's Design Space.

The Library Board is appointed by the City Council and typically meets every other month. All meetings begin at 6:00pm and are held in the Opelika Public Library. The meetings are open to the public and you are invited to attend.

Anime film lovers unite! Join Cashia Irons and other anime film fans to watch and discuss anime films as a group, cosplay, and plan future meet-ups and events. 

Build your own holiday bag charm with us! We will have all the baubles and beads on hand to create a festive charm for your favorite handbag. Feel free to bring any special beads you would like to make it uniquely yours.

Come test your Christmas movie knowledge to win some festive prizes and leave with a ton of Christmas cheer! Ugly Christmas sweaters encouraged but not required.
