Schools out, lets rock! Drop in to the teen space, where we'll be showing Good Dinosaur (Rated PG) at 9 am, Encino Man (Rated PG) 10:45 am, Jungle Cruise (Rated PG-13) at 12:30 pm, and School of Rock (Rated PG-13) at 2:15 pm.

Anyone who has taken the appropriate safety classes can use Makerspace machines without appointment. Machines are first-come, first-served.

The Proof Is in the Dough examines how rural white and African American women in Alabama and Florida used the Cooperative Extension Service’s home demonstration programming between 1914 and 1929 as a means to earn extra income.

Join Ms. Addy for this physical program that combines stories and yoga poses to help children learn about their bodies, develop movement skills, and improve their balance and coordination.

Are you ready to rock?! Join us for a day celebrating all things geology! Make your own pet rock, create an edible rock formation, mine for gems, and more! We promise it will be a rockin' good time!

Want to try out the Makerspace but don’t know where to start? Drop in on Thursdays to create a mini creation. Each month will feature a different small project that should 10 – 15 minutes to complete and are limited to one per patron. 

The Opelika Public Library has a variety of Cricut machines avaialable for use in our makerspace. In class you will learn about the types of machines we offer and how to get started with Cricut's Design Space. 

Join us the 2nd Tuesday of the month for a fun afternoon just for you! Bring a friend for crafts, games, and snacks.

Tween Tuesdays is only for students in 4th and 5th grade.
