This event will provide guided support through coursework that will help educate on technology basics (web browsing, computer use, tablet use, phone use, and more!)

Anyone who has taken the appropriate safety classes can use Makerspace machines without appointment. Machines are first-come, first-served. 

Baby & Me is perfect for our littlest library patrons and their caregivers! This story time features short songs and a story, followed by unstructured play and discovery time!

Join Ms. Addy for this physical program that combines stories and yoga poses to help children learn about their bodies, develop movement skills, and improve their balance and coordination.

This story time includes interactive songs and stories and lots of fun!

Recommended for ages 2-5, all ages welcome!

As an introduction to its Healing History initiative, Alabama Humanities Alliance offers Past Forward -- a participatory experience bringing people together to explore, and reflect upon, pieces of our shared past. 

This story time will include rhymes, a story, and a messy activity! Dress for mess-- and lots of fun!

Learn how to use our 3D Printer and become safety certified to use the machine on your own. This class is required before you are able to make 3D Printer appointments or attend Open Make. 

A time and place for those who love the fiber arts. You are welcome to come and crochet, knit, cross stitch, quilt, or whatever you fancy.

The Opelika Public Library has a variety of Cricut machines avaialable for use in our makerspace. In class you will learn about the types of machines we offer and how to get started with Cricut's Design Space. 

Come sample new genres, titles, stories, and more at our Book Bistro! While enjoying delectable treats, we will "taste-test" books based on that month's theme. You then can check-out and take home your menu selection! 

Learn how to use our Glowforge machine and become safety certified to use the machine on your own. This class is required before you are able to make Glowforge appointments or attend Open Make. 

Join us to learn the how to control Dot and Dash through code! This is an introductory program, no prior coding experience necessary!

Bring your imagination to life through clay! Get ready to shape, mold, and craft your own masterpieces at the library.
