Baby & Me is perfect for our littlest library patrons and their caregivers! This story time features short songs and a story, followed by unstructured play and discovery time! 

For pre-walkers, all are welcome

Join us for Pete's Perfect Pizza Party! We'll read the story, play games, make a craft, and everyone will get to make their own perfect little pizza!

Allergies cannot be accommodated. 

Anyone who has taken the appropriate safety classes can use Makerspace machines without appointment. Machines are first-come, first-served. 

This story time will include rhymes, a story, and a messy activity! Dress for mess-- and lots of fun! 

For kids 2-5, all are welcome

Part story time, part cooking class! This event is for kids in 1st - 5th grades. We will read Uncle John's City Garden and then make succotash.

Always wanted to learn to sew? Need to make a basic repair? Join us to learn the basis of sewing starting with supplies and tools, basic stitches, and buttons. 

Learn how to use our 3D Printer and become safety certified to use the machine on your own. This class is required before you are able to make 3D Printer appointments or attend Open Make. 

The Library Board is appointed by the City Council and meets at the Opelika Public Library. The meetings are open to the public and you are invited to attend. 

This story time includes interactive songs and stories and lots of fun!
