Anyone who has taken the appropriate safety classes can use Makerspace machines without appointment. Machines are first-come, first-served.

Stay and Play Saturdays at OPL! Every Saturday in February, March, and April, a variety of toys, games, and manipulatives will be in the Program Room for children to engage in free play with.

Learn how to use our 3D Printer and become safety certified to use the machine on your own. This class is required before you are able to make 3D Printer appointments or attend Open Make. 

Learn how to sew on a button, make a simple pillow, and learn simple embroidery techniques you can use to decorate clothes or backpacks.

For students in grades 6+

This story time includes interactive songs and stories and lots of fun!

Recommended for ages 2-5, all ages welcome!

Learn how to use our Glowforge machine and become safety certified to use the machine on your own. This class is required before you are able to make Glowforge appointments or attend Open Make. 

A time and place for those who love the fiber arts. You are welcome to come and crochet, knit, cross stitch, quilt, or whatever you fancy.

Choose a design, hammer your nails, and get to wrapping! Make your own incredible piece of string art.

For students in grades 6+

We will have tote bags for you to dye, or you can bring something of your own (tshirt, sweatshirt, etc). 

For students in grades 6+

This story time features calm and relaxing songs and stories perfect to set you up for a restful night of sleep.
