Baby & Me is perfect for our littlest library patrons and their caregivers! This story time features short songs and a story, followed by unstructured play and discovery time! 

For pre-walkers, all are welcome

Inspired by the tools and tasks connected to airplanes and flying, the interactive exhibits explore STEM concepts through the lens of the pioneering airmen’s Six Guiding Principles Aim High: Soaring with the Tuskegee Airmen features

Anyone who has taken the appropriate safety classes can use Makerspace machines without appointment. Machines are first-come, first-served. 

Join us at OPL for some adult crafting where we will be reusing tattered books in new ways!  Drop in and create something new out of well worn used books. Read, Recycle, Create!

Craft will take about 30 minutes to complete.

Learn how to use our Glowforge machine and become safety certified to use the machine on your own. This class is required before you are able to make Glowforge appointments or attend Open Make. 

Part story time, part cooking class - all Fun! Join us as we read a food focused book and then sample the food from the story. You will also get to take home a recipe and tips for recreating the dish at home.
